“XUAN THI” | A CREATIVE STORY BETWEEN NGUYEN XUAN × LA TRINH ATELIER
From a shared vision of the beauty of Vietnamese women, Nguyen Xuan × LA TRINH atelier together create a story titled “Xuan Thi”, with the creative vision of designer Namie Trinh.
“Xuan Thi” evokes a time of youthful beauty for Vietnamese women, where beauty, hair, and feminine values are preserved through the years and passed down through generations.
Inspired by the values that Nguyen Xuan pursues, LA TRINH atelier transforms this story through the language of fashion and visual art. The four characteristic colors of Nguyen Xuan become the inspiration for the designer to explore the imagery of the Four Seasons: Pine, Chrysanthemum, Bamboo, and Plum Blossom, each symbolizing a unique aspect of the beauty of Vietnamese women.
During this journey, Phuong Quyen – Top 10 Miss World Vietnam, was chosen as the face representing the image of the woman in “Springtime”. Appearing in designs previously showcased at LA TRINH atelier’s “gods within her” show in Milan on September 21st, Phuong Quyen presented a unique interpretation of beauty, hair, and colors associated with the spirit of “Xuan Thi”.
